A full-size Sailing Ship Columbia attraction poster, created in the 2000s for park use but never displayed. Featuring a striking image of the Columbia sailing ship, the designs bring to life the 110-foot-long replica of the Columbia Rediviva, the first sailing ship to travel around the world. The poster, designed by acclaimed Disney artist Bjorn Aronson, references early travel posters of the 1950s and welcomes guests to "Sail Aboard the Full Rigged 3 Masted Sailing Ship" along the Rivers of America. The earliest of these posters were hand-silkscreened, however, more modern versions such as this were mechanically printed on sturdier paper with ink that would perform better in sunlight. Measuring 54"x36”, the poster is in very good condition with age-related fading, light edge and corner wear, particularly creasing to the top right corner, minor scuffs, and some visible tears along the right edge.
