A ceramic figurine inspired by the Disney Studios film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1937). Featuring a turtle, the figure was produced by Zaccagnini of Florence Italy in the 1940's. Walt Disney entrusted Zaccagnini to produce sculptures at the end of the 1930s and they are praised for their stylistic interpretations of characters and vibrant color usage. Figures by Zaccagnini are rare finds. Measuring 2.25”x2” and 4” tall, the turtle is in very good condition with some crazing.
