An original production background from the Don Bluth Studios animated video game Space Ace (1984). Featuring one of the detailed hallways in the Dodging Beams sequence, the background was created at the studio and is initialed by Don Bluth for approval (the "DB" in the lower margin), although the background used in the final sequence has different detailing, meaning this particular background could have been altered or cut. Don Bluth was known for being meticulous in the color and design choices in his productions, recreating backgrounds if they didn't meet his approval. Measuring 13.5"x17.5" overall and with the image area measuring 13"x17", the production background is in fine condition with minimal edge wear from studio handling and use.
