An original background color key concept from the Don Bluth Studios animated film Rock-A-Doodle (1992). Featuring the Grand Duke of Owls, the concept painting was created at the studio during the film's development process. Don Bluth Productions uniquely used these concepts not only to develop the scene's color palette, style, and emotion, but also as storyboards to visualize the full story development. Measuring 10"x13.5" overall and with the image area measuring 9"x11.5", the background color key concept is in fine condition with minor wear.
