This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated Pecos Bill short from the package film, Melody Time (1948). The cel features a great image of Pecos Bill and his trusty horse, Widowmaker, and the cel was created at the studio and used in the production of the film. The cel is trimmed to image and applied to a custom painted reproduction background that was created by the studio's Art Props department. The overall piece measures about 8.5" x 11" with the character image measuring about 7" x 8". the cel is in great condition and is a lovely piece of a humorous and memorable duo.
