This is an original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios production Peter Pan (1953). This hand-painted cel features Michael excitedly pulling at Mr. Darling's vest to look at the pirate map on his shirt. It was created at the studio and used during production, representing an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the cartoon. The cel is paired with a custom reproduction background. The overall measurements of the trimmed piece are 10.5" x 9.5" and the image itself measures 9.5" x 9". The production cel is in very good condition.
