An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios classic film Sleeping Beauty (1959). Featuring Maleficent peering over her shoulder with Diablo accompanying her, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the film. measuring 18"x17.75" framed with the character image measuring 8"x5.5", the cel is in overall very good condition. The cel is exhibiting light rippling as well as a small vertical crease down its left side, and is unexamined outside of its frame.
