An original production cel from the Walt Disney Studios animated film Sleeping Beauty (1959). Featuring Merryweather with her wand in hand, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the movie. The cel was originally prepared for sale at the Disneyland Art Corner. Measuring 10"x12" overall with a 9.25"x8.75" opening, the cel is in very good condition with part of the Art Corner copy background stuck to the paint on the reverse of the cel and some paint lifting in areas due to being stuck to the background. We have paired the cel with a new color copy reproduction background.
